Children with Special Abilities (CWSA)

At Tauranga Intermediate School our Children with Special Abilities (CWSA) programme offers an accelerated curriculum at the same time catering for the social and emotional needs of identified children.

In this environment students are supported by experienced teachers to learn at advanced levels, maximising their potential. International and national testing is a compulsory component of our programme.

Future Problem Solving is a major component in the CWSA teaching and learning programme and provides students with opportunities to develop creative, critical and analytical thinking by exploring complex societal issues.
