Information for new families
Attendance
All students are expected to be at school by 8.30am, ready to commence the school day at 8.45am. Attendance is monitored closely and parents will be contacted if there are any concerns.
If students are genuinely ill, obviously the best place for them is to rest at home so they can make a quick recovery. Please ring 578 4401 to report an absence, email your teacher, or use the facility provided on our website.
Cyclists
Cyclists must wear helmets and have a lock to secure their bicycle. A cycle track that by-passes 15th Avenue and Turret Road makes this area safer for our students. The school has a secure compound where bikes are held during school hours.
Learning Conferences
All students are involved in student-led conferences twice a year. The conferences are a conversation between student, parent and the teacher, focused on recent learning and the setting of targets in Reading, Writing and Mathematics.
Newsletters
We do not produce a regular School Newsletter as all important information is put on the school Facebook Page which is updated several times a week. The Sports Newsletter is produced monthly and links are sent out and posted on the Facebook Page and the App.
