I consider Tauranga Intermediate to be an outstanding school in which our community can have total confidence.
As trustees our role is to ensure this is maintained, by always striving for best interests of all students, and supporting our excellent teaching staff and management.
My background is journalism and I work mostly from home as a freelance subeditor. My interest in literacy has also led me to volunteer as a reading tutor at Tauranga Intermediate for the past four years.
My husband Martin and I have four school-age children, and our youngest son is currently a student at Tauranga Intermediate.
