Western Bay of Plenty Speech Competition
On the 23rd of September, Anna and I competed in the WBOP (Western Bay of Plenty) speech finals. We were up against many difficult people who have had experience in the public speaking arena. We were both very nervous. As it started I was sixth on out of the Year 7's and Anna was 4th for Year 8's Everyone was very skilled and the competition was very tough. The Year 7's final results were confirmed as the following:

1. Tauranga Intermediate School
2. Bethlehem College
3. Aquinas College
4. Otumoetai College
And the Year 8 results were:
1. Omokoroa Number One School
2. John Paul College
3. Tauranga Intermediate School
4. Aquinas College
We were both very happy with the results
and feedback we received.
